The POOLGUARD POOL ALARM has been on the market since 1982 and is made in
the USA. POOLGUARD is completely portable and comes with an in house remote
receiver. The POOLGUARD POOL ALARM features are listed below:
The POOL
ALARM uses one 9-volt battery — battery life is approximately one year.
The POOL ALARM automatically resets
after 5 minutes of alarming.
The pool safety
alarm will sound at the pool and in the home at the same
time.
The POOLGUARD SYSTEM can be used in a
pool up to 800 sq. ft. in area.
The POOL ALARM has a complete
functional test feature every time it is installed in the pool.
POOLGUARD has a three-year warranty.
POOLGUARD maintains a full customer
service department for your convenience.
The REMOTE
RECEIVER comes with a 9-volt power supply or it can be plugged into any 110-volt
outlet in the house.
The POOL ALARM
sets stationary on the side of the pool and is easily removed for swimming.
The range of the REMOTE RECEIVER is up
to 200 feet from the POOL ALARM.
The POOL ALARM requires NO ropes,
wires, tie downs or deck anchors. The POOL ALARM is user friendly and completely
portable.

The PGRM-2E pool alarm is
now being used in Europe to meet regulations where they
require that the alarm meet EU standard and have a notified
body number (CE 0359). The NEW MODEL PGRM-2E
is a specially manufactured pool alarm for European pools.
The PGRM-2E has the Notified body approval for CE
Mark, and the in house remote operates on the 230V-50hz.
The PGRM-2E introduces "NEGATIVE
DISPLACEMENT TECHNOLOGY," a new sensing method that
requires no adjustments. Entry into the pool by children,
pets, or intruders is detected by the units electronic
sensor, and sets off a loud, pulsating alarm both in the
home and at the pool. Safe, simple, and easy to operate, the
9-volt battery powered alarm does not require tie-downs,
ropes, or wires. The Poolguard Pool Alarm for
European pools comes with a remote receiver which sounds an
alarm inside the home when the unit is activated at the
pool. The Poolguard European Pool Alarm system
can be used with a solar blanket on the pool. Poolguard
comes with a limited three year warranty. Meets all ASTM
safety standards for pool alarms: ASTM-PS 128-01.
